ruger m77 m2 target

Hi
I would like to know if the ruger m77 m2 target rifles in 243 and 220 swift have the same size action.
Would they be classed as short or long action ?

They would be a short action. You might want to go on rugers site and confirm this as I was stunned to find out that the 6.5x55 swede was actually a long action.

I did look at the ruger site but didnt find any info about it.
A couple of mates of mine want me to order boyds thumbhole stocks for their rifles so I need to be sure before ordering.
Boyds website says to measure the length of the floorplate which is what I probably will do but I thought I would try here first.
