Ruger M77 barrel replacement

I have an older Ruger 6mm Remington that I’m thinking about replacing the barrel on. I’ve never had a barrel replaced and have no idea the route to go. I’m a hunter that reloads and likes good accuracy... for me that is .50-1.00 MOA. I know it would be cheaper to buy a rifle that would meet my needs but this rifle has sentimental value and I’d like to keep using it. If anyone could suggest a company to contact for a hunting barrel I’d appreciate it. Also, would this company install it or do you normally have to get someone else to do that?
Thank you.

I have a bunch of rifles with McGowen barrels. They do good work, have reasonable prices, and have a good selection of options.

Access to a local gunsmith and a pre-fit would mean no rifle shipping.

I have a 6mm & 6mm AI with McGowen barrels, both with '06 length actions.

I have 2 E.R. Shaw barrels that easily accomplish what your looking for.

I'm currently building a 7X57 Mauser for my daughter that will be wearing an E.R. Shaw barrel also.
