Ruger m77 6ppc value

Just wondering if anyone can help me estimate the value of a ruger m77 in 6ppc. It is new in box and unfired. SN dates it as a 1994 mfg. I am looking to purchase Thai rifle and I’m not sure what it’s worth in the current market. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

That’s a tough one. I’ve seen them on gunbroker over the years, mostly clean examples in 95% or better. If I remember right they have gone for 700.00-1200.00. Neat rifles. Given the current climate listing it on gunbroker would probably end in a good result, if you list it for a couple weeks and have a reserve you can live with then You can’t lose, it will probably go for more. Thats what I would do anyways. It’s too bad there isn’t more auctions prices kept on record, I just googled it and found quite a few that have been sold on gunsamerica, gunsinternational but it didn’t show a price. I bought one NIB in 1996(?) and still have it and it still shoots quite well. At the time I purchased it I was told that those rifles sported either Douglas or Wilson barrels depending upon the SN. I called the factory and they at that time confirmed that and told me that mine was a Douglas. They are exceptional shooting rifles. Used ones are bringing $500-700 that I personally know of that have sold. As a point of reference 7 years ago I sold a Ruger 22PPC for $1250....... best shooting factory rifle I've ever seen.

The one you're looking at NIB and unfired I'd say $1000-1200. Depending upon how seriously you want it and what you want it for. I'd almost guarantee that you won't find a NIB factory rifle made today that will out shoot it.. JME WD

I'd have to say the one I had was the most accurate factory rifle I ever owned. Would shoot fairly close to one of my friend's custom Hall action PPC turn neck chamber.
