Ruger american 223 help plz

If anyone has a ruger american in 223 sitting around can u give me a masurment of max oal of a loaded round that will fit in a factory plastic mag

I have a ruger american action barrel will be here this week. In future will be droping it in krg when funds alow but for now just wanna be able to shot it in factory stock and use a mag (havent gotten stock or mag yet) and dont wanna drop cash on mags that wont work

do they sell them with a specific mag? i have one but it takes standard ar mags. assumed they all came that way.

They sell ther with the rotery mag and the ar mags and u can get after market bottom metal for them to take AI style mags

2.30 is what I remember when I had one. Besides poor accuracy, I sold it due to the short magazine. Why have a 1:8 twist barrel that will shoot a long bullet but include a short magazine

I read somewhere of a modification that could get more than that but I never tried it.
