Ruger #1s FS @ Cabela's DE

Just an FYI, anyone looking for a specific Ruger #1, Cabela's in Delaware had 14 of them sitting in the used rack. All looked to be in like new condition. I surmise they bought out a collection. Haven't checked but they may be listed in the gun library. One can have them shipped to any other Cabela's to inspect.
I DO NOT work for them.

Josh, IIRC, they were all a little over $1000. They looked pristine.

Cabelas advertises that they are the largest Ruger No. 1 dealer in the country. All the No.1s on the "used" rack just outside the DE Cabelas Gun Library are new. For some reason the DE Cabelas has not photographed and added any firearms to their online Gun Library listings in probably 6+ months. Would guess they are trying to save the cost of a photographer and/or trying to sell the firearms themselves instead of shipping to another Cabelas or dealer. Thanks for your post, interesting read. I have two #1's that I want to sell, one in 218 Bee and the other in 223. Seems that both of these calibers are kinda hard to find, so of more value.

.223 Rem is common, 218 Bee is somewhat hard to find...

Geronimo, what is the difference between black and red? I assume red is an older version (like the older version BVSS had a red pad), but were they manufactured differently? Thanks!

The Glendale, AZ Cabela's has some. I was told by the gun library manager they are seconds. Cosmetic issues.
