Ruger #1 7x57 Mannlicher

For sale one beautiful #1 Mannlicker in 7x57.
Safe queen, I have never shot it. Scope not included. 1400 bucks plus shipping. I would consider selling the scope with it but it would cost a little more.

I cannot imagine how Ruger could ever produce a #1 that was not a pleasure to see, and hold (fondle?), and shoot.

I'm not a big fan of Mannlicker stocks. Only one I own is P.O. Ackley's personal 17-223. This one is so tempting, especially how it's priced! Getting old is not for sissies...

Thank you for the question. I don’t know if it’s ever been fired or if someone ever did. Rifling looks clean and sharp to me. I hope this helps. I wouldn’t be selling it but I have another little 7x57 mannlicher carbine that I hunt Blacktail Deer with.

These are Great rifles. I had a Ruger 1A Schnabel stock that shot bug holes; when I figured out how Ruger cut their chambers. In those days they cut the chamber to accommodate any left over foreign ammo that was floating around; 175 gr mil- spec long ass throat . For safety reasons. Load that gun with 160-175's long to just ahead of the rifling and watch it come alive. Any light bullet 120 to 154 would not shoot accurate in mine. 160 - 175 behind a full snort of H4350 was a tack driver.No huge velocity gain , but every thing I shot with it was DRT!
Hopefully I win the lottery tomorrow; this gun would be mine!
Sold mine ; in a pinch ,to my stupid brother with full expectations of getting it back and he pawned it off. Haven't had good relations since.

Sorry no pictures. It is not a No. 1 but a Sako L46 with a Mannlicker stock.
