RPA Rifles

Being new to target rifles, have been looking for an F/TR .308 rifle and had just about decided on a .308 RPA Interceptor. But have read on another forum about "loose barrels" being only hand tight.

Has anyone else come across this problem?

weve got eight or so RPA's in our club with no problems.not like the AI.DSR and Sakos which just dont shoot properly.I just cant afford one.

maltbuck,
I don't know which side of the ocean you're on, but there are a lot of RPA actions on the line at long range matches here in the US, but I don't see any complete RPA rifles,Interceptor) in those competitions. They are very high quality products but no-one is supporting them very well in the US,no repair or spare parts). If you're in the UK then very well, carry on!

Over in the UK, RPA is very highy regarded make. I have a Quadlock action on my F-Class,open). I think about 50% of UK competitively campaigned F-class rifles in the UK have RPA actions, plus thousands of traditional target rifles.

Buy it.
