RPA Quadlite Bedding

Anyone shooting an RPA Quadlite? Looking for bedding techniques for this action - to include how many pillars / action screws and or additional lugs. It is going in a Sitman laminated birch stock for LR prone.
Thanks

Interesting - no lug huh? The action has 4 screw holes - assuming the front 2 pillared and the rear tang also pillared?

My Quadlite has only two screw holes, both pillared, and a factory lug, Rem style which is keyed to the front face of the action. Its been bedded in two different stocks, one was a Sitman F class stock, both times bedded fully to 180 degrees. No accuracy issues.

Richard.

Interesting - I talked to Dan at Warner Tool and their recommendation was to stick with conventional pillar bedding with the recoil lug. If I was shooting a low recoil round, i.e. a 6BR then I could get away no lug, but with the 6.5-284 - keep the lug. My action has 4 action screw holes - all tapped at 1/4-28. one of the two in the middle of the action has a flat cut in to the action - round and about .750 in dia. The three others are all just simple drilled/tapped into the action.
Many way to skin the cat...

Checked with my customer - hers is like Leeman. Three screws and Savage style recoil lug. OK Weber told here to leave mid screw loose and bed as normal over pillars.
