Thanks for ur reply. I take it the trigger will fit, just a question of which springs it has installed in it. Present trigger works fine, this new one is a spare. That trigger is available in two versions: 0.5 and 1.5 kg (total) pull weight. I'd guess it's simply the springs that make the difference.
Unlike most actions, your choices will be limited due the extreme preload the Belleville washer stack exerts. My old RPA CG-2000 still has the original trigger and it's still OK after about 6500 rounds. The washer stack is basically the same as the later (final) iteration, the HHE Millennium which was built by my now-deceased clubmates. These actions will quickly destroy a Jewell by flogging out the pins in their housings. I currently run a Centra in my Millennium but have a one-off 4-lever trigger built by Tony Halberg himself. A work of art.

Gold and silver will fit up to either 2000 or quad. At least those brought to the US market. Making them act civil is another task.

No. Either weight set up is irrelevant. Sear engagement, surface finish and balancing the first and second weights so they work well together is what counts. Getting the first stage to return to full engagement can get a bit tricky.Alan,
Does civil, start with installing the lighter springs?
