Quite a while ago, I bought 100 new Remington-Peters brass from Graf & Sons. My good friend that was doing my reloading passed away and I have 70 of them left. I know I've shot the 30 rounds with 180gr Sierra and 69gr of 4831 without a hitch, but my question is, just looking around on Google I've read some hate the brass???????

Don't worry if like you say 30 have gone without a hitch, 30 is pretty decent sample size.

First law of engineering is "If it works don't fix it!" applies here if it works for you don't go out to the internet to see if it worked for others, relax and shoot it.

Remember there will always be some that would fault a new rope. Don't worry about what others say, used, as you/he have and enjoy.

The biggest problem I've come across with R.P. brass was off center ugly flash-holes. Broke decapping pin... twice !!
So I don't use it at all.

People say Winchester brass is horrible.. but I"ve had excellent results with it. I rarely had to cull any from a new bag and the Winchester brass lasts me DOZENS of reloads, as long as I anneal it every 5 or 6 firings.

These were bought prolly 12 15 years ago, and my slightest concern was quality now, because NO-body around here does reloading anymore unless its just for them selves and I'm going to move these and some others. I only shoot this critter half dozen rounds or so a week so I'm relegated to store bought and I'm liking the HSM,s.

It is just like my Ford is better than your Chevy. If your satisfied with your accuracy and no problems then forget it and go shoot. It is kind of funny how people will condemn something over one SMALL sample. I could say, "I will never use Remington cases because I got a batch one time that one of the cases did not have a flash hole punch in it." I could also say, "I will never use Lapua cases again because I got a box that one had the flash hole off center." That is one of thousands that I have used over the past 40 years of hand loading. Nothing is perfect.
