Rossi .243 Ballistics

I have a Rossi .243 youth model for my daughter,she has shot 5 deer with this gun....but would like to know the actuall ballistics on the shorter barrel.I know most ballistics are taken off a 24" barrel.My 6 yr. old will be using this gun this year, and will have shot's out to 300 tds. Thanks

The only sure way to know is to find someone with a chronograph and test your loads that way. There are just too many variables to even guess. As an example I have a Hart barreled Rem Mdl 7 in 308 with a 20" barrel it's only 30 fps slower than my Rem 700 26" barreled VS in 308,same loads same twist 1x12). In 2 model 700's in 260 with 24" barrels 1 is 115 fps faster,again same loads.
