My top plate pivots on teflon bearings independently from the base plate allowing for misalignment of the SEB base relative to your target. This feature saves a lot of time during prep. Another huge advantage is built into my bottom sand bags. First of all they are very small for minimal contact and less drag or breakaway of the rifle under recoil. These bags also toggle front to back so leveling the front leg Of your SEB is no longer necessary. again this leads to consistent set ups every time. My ears slide in and out from Just under 3” to just over 4” wide. The sides are constructed with delrin rollers set 3” apart front to back.
My 5-Axis top is 100% made in the USA and cones with a lifetime warranty. My warranty is on my product and not just to the original owner.

Rod, you have been wonderfully responsive and open to emails and questions. The phone replies have been great, it is easy to tell you have put hard work and pride into your product. Looking forward to trying this out next week, have a few friends using now and they love it! Wishing you all the luck on this!

I have not used this yet, but it certainly solves some annoying problems. Look forward to seeing Nick's version. :-)

Buy with confidence is all I can say. I'm Rod's first customer in Australia and certainly won't be his last now that the new top has been deemed compliant and legal under ICFRA rules.

For those folks running the Farley rest we now have a 5 Axis top. To fit the Farley we add two new mounting holes and installation is a snap.

Guys, I just added some Optimum Charge Weight load development targets to my site.
Like most fellow competitors, I spend a lot of time at the range developing loads or finding the tuning windows for various calibers. Over the years I have used all types of targets in load development but never found any that were laid out the way I wanted so I developed my own. I normally shoot 5 groups, round robin style with .3 grain variance in charge weight looking for the node with best accuracy and SDs. I might also try more than one powder. Once the powder type and charge weights are established, I switch to seating depth testing and sometimes primer testing. The last thing I do is adjust the tuner, if I am running one. There are a lot of ways to tune a rifle and I don’t consider myself an expert but by changing only one thing at a time and keeping good records, I can reliably get just about any barrel shooting to its full potential. I keep all my loading notes stapled to the targets after shooting and by going back through the groups I can easily see trends. Keeping good records is essential and with the Rodzilla Shooting Products OCW load development targets it just became a bit easier. Rod B www.therodzilla.com

i wonder if that would make your zero more consistent shooting short range score where you shoot 5 or 6 different bulls on one target?

Just Thinkin - Wouldn't it have been more user friendly to use your existing base bottom sand bag pads and redo the roller system to a 1/2 " side bag similar to the 3 piece rest tops from the seb rests?
This might get you past the IBS Problem ?

My new IBS legal top will be on my website shortly.
As I understand the IBS rules there must be sand across the bottom as well as sand on the sides. I decided to go with the proven Farley style sand bag and retain my pivoting top plate. Edgewood and Protector Model makes late model Farley bags in 3” and 4” widths that fit my top and slide in from either end. The stiff bottom on these bags slide into slots so I can maintain a very close fit on the bags.
