Recently switched from 4831 shortcut to reloader 23 and I am impressed and very happy with the results 2980 fps Burger 140 grain VLD huntingTTACH=full]1162553[/ATTACH]

23 is a good powder for that cart.. I use it with a 147 eldm and 153 atip...

I use Re23 with 162 Matrix. My Velocities are 2870 with extreme spreads ranging from 3 to 10 fps in my last test.

With barrel life being what it is with a 6.5-284 I choose a powder that would help as best as I could. I could not get enough H1000 in the case to work right, but VV165 works very well and has one of the lowest flame temps on the flame temp chart. Doesn't hurt that it is also more accurate than the H4831 I was using either.

Going to have to try that it is one VV powder that is available at my store N570 is very rare

N570 is a high energy powder. The way I read that is high temp. I won't go there with something as hard on barrels as a 6.5-284.
