Have you guys tried RL-22 or RL-19 in .308?

They are slow, you might try them with 175 and heavier bullets. I load 48 grains of RE-19 with 90 grain Sciroccos in a .243. They chronograph 3212fps.

There is a balance in burn speed and case capacity. The .308, .30-06 have had more testing and wild catting than any other two cases.

I have been experimenting with the Sierra 210 MKHPBT. Everyone has said the .308 does not have the horsepower to push this heavy of bullet. I have been able to keep them supersonic at 1000 yards using a 32" 1:10 Broughton 5C barrel. The first loads after geting them on the paper shot .5 moa groups in a no wind site in. I was begining with 44.5 grains of IMR 4350. I believe Reloader 19 and Reloader 22 will fall just a tad faster than IMR4350. In fact I may try both of them. I think Reloader 15 and Varget will be way to fast. I have considered trying H-1000 and H4831.Just have not had the time.

I noticed, the N160 and N560 are right behind rl-19 on the burn rate chart, so I'm expecting good results. Also a lot of shooters use it in .260rem. and calibers with similar case capacity. Currently I use rl-15+178 a-max and is phenomenal!
Let me know if you get any velocity gain. I loaded 190smk, 180smk and 185scenars with rl-19, just have get to the range!
