RL 17 for 270 Winchester

I need a bit of help for a friend of mine. He want's to try RL 17 in his 270 Winchester hunting rifle. I have no experience with this powder and am not sure why it was developed.

Does anyone use RL 17 for the 270 and can you share your load / results?

I'm useing reloader 19 in my 270win. It works well, its very accurate. Well it seems to be, I haven't tryed other powder yet. I'm also just the the starting load of 53.4gr. I haven't had a ton of time to play with it.

I guess this doesn't help you to much but no one else has posted yet so I figured I would.
