RimRock Bullets -- Your Thoughts?

Didn't see the norm " Out Of Stock" Anyone out there use their bullets ? Ordered some 148 DEWC , prices are good but never shot their bullets. There is nothing out there so I gave them a chance.

I have shot quite a few through my 38 revolvers. They are hard and have a bevel base, which are generally not the best for cast bullets, but depending on how they fit your throats and bore, and the load you work up, they can be quite accurate without leading. I have better luck using a slower powder like Herco or Unique over Bullseye or Red dot.

I am using 2.7grs. of Bullseye with a 148 grain WC . Everything's gone for awhile , when I saw they had a lot of stock , wanted to pass it on. I mostly shoot 45acp in my 1911 but wanted to bring out the safe queens and use up powders I haven't loaded in a while to get through this dry spell. I'm using the wadcutters in my old work guns 3 and 2" revolvers , still in perfect condition . Will let everyone know how I like the bullets.

I bought a bunch of their 200gr 45 SWC's. Seem as good as anything else I've tried.

Their packaging for shipping needed a little work, but nothing got spilled; just beat to crap in transit.

My next order will be the 230 gr. RN .451 now I'm shooting hardball 230 FMJ .451 Using cast will save on powder also something new to try. Thanks for answering.

You're welcome, and I hope it works well for you.

As an aside, I may be ordering some 32 wadcutters from them; my usual source is running 4-6 months out.

I'm also thinking about investigating a swaging setup for 32 and 38 hollowbase wadcutters, but it looks a little cost prohibitive for my finances right now.

You picked a good post name for sure , diving in to something new is always costly , Adding all the dies , scales and measuring tools for reloading , reloading is something we like to do not so much in savings. Now getting into making your own bullets is nice but how hard is it to buy product. Powder , primers and bullets are off the shelves , everything is bought on line when not " Out Of Stock". Nice talking to you , Be Well.

Check out Chey-cast bullets, out of 'Cheyenne Wyoming. Last time I ordered bullets, so many places said out of stock, but they had what I wanted. Only took a few days to get to me
