As we make our way through Summer and approach the Fall I figured I'd make the following announcement regarding our Fall shooting schedule.

I am glad to announce that we will have Rimfire Schuetzen Matches at The Phoenix Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, 10/29/16 and 11/19/16. The match will consist of Any Sights Benchrest, Iron Sights Benchrest and Any Sights Offhand events. All shooting will be done at 100 yards. Specific course of fire to be announced.


ASSRA rules apply, single shot rifles such as Falling Block and Rolling Block only. No, bolt action rifles.


Participants are not required to shoot all 3 events.


Cost to participate is $10. However, if you are a member of The American Single Shot Rifle Association (www.assra.com) your match fee will be $7 and you will be eligible to win raffle prizes from Burris Optics, Montana Extreme Bore Cleaner, Pro-Shot Products, RWS Rimfire Ammunition and others.
