I have been using this insert for shooting matches and has worked out so well that I am selling these ammo trays to this forum. These are 3D printed and fit snugly in a Pelican 1040 case and even flipped upside down the rounds remain captured and intact. Loading either single shot or into magazines with the raised cartridges it makes it easy to handle even with that waxy lubricant. Available for Lapua/SK and Eley inserts right now and come in Gray, Orange or Color change filaments all shown below.

Great Idea. For older hands that have difficulty with dexterity, it may be better to raise every other row of bullets, which would be easier for older fingers to grasp. If you can do this, you may want to ask on the forum if there are shooters that would be interested. I'm 70 Years old and sometimes have trbl grasping the rims to pull out of the 50 round box. Getting them out quickly for loading in a single shot is only a problem for timed events.

Very tempting, but I already have 2-3 blocks for 22 Ammo. One that I just recently purchased. That block only accepts 1- of the 50 round Eley round holders. It does raise every other row of shells which works nicely. that is what prompted me to share the idea with you, I will keep this Storage / Ammo solution in mind. thanks.

Revised the original post to add the smaller 50 round tray for those that single feed:

Edit: After receiving requests for a smaller tray, I now have a 50 round tray with alternating raised rows, if you were to shoot 25 round and then flip the blue Lapua tray 180 degrees the previously low rounds are now high. These fit snugly in a Pelican 1015 case and even flipped upside down the rounds remain captured and intact. Available in colors as above and asking $25.00 shipped with same payment options.

Any plans to make a size that fits Pelican 1060 which would also fix Harbor Freights Apache 500 case?

I purchased the double 50 Eley - 100 round tray.
It's really nice as it's really easy to pull the tall rounds or the lower rounds. Once the taller rounds have been pulled (cleared from the tray). The shorter height rounds are raised just a little bit also, making it easy to get ahold of them.
