I have a Bartlein gain twist 22RF barrel blank here that i am going to chamber up for a RIM X. I suppose i would chamber it for whatever other rimfire action the buyer may want it for. Im going to price it for a rim x chamber job, so if you wanted something different, the price might be another 50$ or so. Just depends on if i need to mill extractor grooves. Its a time to complete thing.
These gain twist rim fire blanks act as taper or choke. Bartlein blanks are not taper lapped so the gain in the barrel compensates for this. It works! The blanks that i have are 16.25 to 16 twist. heavy varmint taper, 5r rifling. I chambered one for myself and its really shooting well. Price for a rimx chambered Bartlein gain is 650$ plus shipping
