Rifle Value (Does anyone have a Blue Book??)

Still working on it???

Hello,
Trying to determine a estimated value for a rifle I bought a number of years ago(20+). I know the market is the final determination on rifles like these. Just hoping to find a possible average value or some where in between.
Rifle Info:
Springfield Armory
SAR 4800/5.56 Sporter
Right Side: 48 (Match)
5.56mm This is a factory conversion to 5.56. (Runs flawlessly)
Barrel Length:
Semi Automatic (FN FAL type of rifle) Adjustable gas system
I believe this rifle was imported during the Clinton era Assault Weapons Ban that went into effect in the 1990's.
The research I found stated that only 700 of these rifles were imported.???
Condition is about 95%, a few place have some finish loss, this is a finish that is factory applied over the original finish.
Accepts all M16/AR15 magazines
Adjustable sights
Fake muzzle brake. (Not welded on that I can see)
Original Bell & Carlson thumbhole stock.
Also included will be a DSA butt stock and pistol grip (like new condition).
I am the original owner, purchased NIB.

Hope this is enough info.
Thanks,
Tim

Thank you,

IMO, Match was a term loosely thrown around probably to help meet some import terminology.
Maybe some others will chime in. :)

I've got the latest Blue Book and it shows $810 in 95%. With the original stock and box and paperwork, I'd say it's worth that. With that stock you show in the pictures it's worth considerably less. This model was made 1990-1998.

Thank you,
I have the box and everything that came with it as well as the original stock.

Found several that sold between $2300 and $3000.

Wow,
that is a big difference from the Blue book estimates. Looks like the market may drive prices quite a lot on it. (maybe I could trade it for a new to me benchrest rifle) :)

I appreciate everyones research and input. It is a unique/different rifle that you don't see everyday.

Yes, I agree.
I guess at the time it was Good attack, wrong hill. :)

yep at the time that sporting stock was a way to get around the weapons ban! I believe the folding stock para version was sold only as a class 3 weapon. There were several thousand imported with the sporter stock but only a few hundred in the para and folding stock versions. There exists some confusion there.

Yes,
The only numbers could find on any search was 700 of the 5.56 rifles were imported. Not sure how accurate that is. That was crazy back then when manufacturers were getting creative to meet requirements of the law and still produce and import certain firearms.

I appreciate everyone's input on a different/unique rifle.
