Rifle Twist 6BR

What bullets would suit a 1:8,6" Twist in 6mmBr? Has anyone got one? This particular one is a Pac Nor Super Match

Cheers

Just about anything you can stuff into it will shoot pretty darn good from the 105's on down...

I am shooting a 8.5: twist in a 6 BRX this year and am having very good luck with the 108 Berger BT's. Granted the 6 BRX has a little more velocity but I'd still give the 108's a try in the 6 BR.

FroggyOne2 you may be correct on that but I hope not... I have a new Bartlein 1:7.8 being chambered with the latest reamer profile DTubb's come up with for the 6XC.

I'd planned on using the DTAC 115's but changed my mind & ordered the 111's. They haven't arrived at SSS,as of this morning) so it'll be awhile before my box arrives; same thing is true for the completed rifle that Bartlein's going into.

David's always allowed that a 'true' 1:8 will work with his DTAC 115 but they seem to work better in the 1:7.5 Pac Nors I've been using for the past three years.

My R5 wears a 7.5 Rock Creek, it seems to like 30grs or Varget under a SIE 107 and also 30.6grs or RL-15 and not sure yet on the short line load. But I think that I will run with 29.7grs of RL-15. The Varget load is with a moly'd 107, the others are dry. I got the 7.5 for two reasons, well three really, my gunsmith had on hand, I was going to try the 111's in it, at least for fun and finnally, the price was right.

IOW I can safely do any of the VLD's from 108 and down. Thanx for the help gents
Any of the V-max worth looking at? Considering they price pretty ok

Cheers

Don't know about the V-Max but a 600 yard NBRSA Record was set last October with the 105 grain A-Max: .5823" with a 6mm Dasher.

I scored for a shooter last year at the Midwest Palma at Lodi who could hold the 10-ring at 1K with a 6BR using them too.

I believe the V-Max line is intended more for hunting than shoot for score... not that they might not work OK for some folks.

Sorry man...I actually meant the A-MAX 105gr. The V-Max only goes up to 87gr I think. Guess they would work well on critters though..he he

What else would you guys reccomend for the type of price range?
$22 for a hundred would be my type of budget.

Cheers
