Forum Boss: The OP complained he could not find small rifle and large rifle primers for sale.

He obviously did not look very hard. In today‘s Daily Bulletin we showcased primers at Precision Reloading.

Powder Valley boasted they had primers for sale. Small pistol........ does anybody but the scammers have large or small rifle primer. I've given up on brand. This is almost as big a joke as Covid.

Target Sports has #34 cci large rifle.

Small rifle are pretty easy to come by as are small pistol. The large on line sellers have them pretty regularly. You just have to pay to play. Large rifle is tough....

They re out there occasionally if you watch things closely … but not out there at a price I m willing to pay.

Going to enjoy watching when this thing “finally turns” and the scalpers get burned AND the retailers have to get a little more competitive too!

Feels like everyone has had free access to your wallet for some time. I refuse to participate.

Midsouth had a bunch of BR2s in 1000 and 5000 boxes this morning at the lowest prices I've seen in almost 2 years ($130/1000) plus free shipping. The large rifle primers have popped up quite a bit the past few weeks but they've been holding around the $100/1000 mark lately. Lots of CCI200 plus some 210s and BR2s scattered in. If you're watching and quick they're out there.

Precision, Midsouth and a couple others are showing primers and powder. Some LGS also are getting some in. I know mine is. To a google search.

Reality is that reloading is getting more expensive as the cost of primers and powder goes up, but bullets still seem a pretty good deal, IMO. Currently it seems $0.08-$0.12/ea is about going rate, depending on how much one buys. That is a huge increase, but still the minority of reloading costs. My $0.02.

Try Miwall - I've used them several times with no issues [they do take credit cards].
Their prices always are the best I've seen.

Unis Ginex primers are made in Europe and work fine. They do tend to need more force to seat, though.

Unis-Ginex are made in Serbia . I've used them for several years when the "pockets" start getting bigger , and they work just fine . Both in SRP and LRP . Didn't even see any REAL velocity changes worth mentioning , in both a .308 , and a Mosin with a .308 barrel . Bruno's has them in stock , and the price is reasonable .
