What is wrong with the telephone or email? I use gunsmiths all over the USA and Alaska. USPS and UPS go all over. I would never let distance keep me from the best.

Backwater Coustom Rifles Britt Jones built me a 300 WSM that sat a 10 match score record in IBS for 2016. Also 2015 and 2016 SOY shooter in 1000 yards .He built me a Dasher sat a heavy gun record at G.B.A. 600 yard Nationals of .715 that was 5 shots in 2019.

Dana English built a rifle for George that wrote the news letter for the Manatee club for a few years. A 7mm rum on a sako action that had the nastiest cut up wood hunting stock I have ever seen( had to be Georges idea ) the forearm was almost cut away cause the barrel was so big in diameter. That was the shootinest rifle I have ever seen. It's been many years but as I remember it he shoot it on paper before a match and shot a 1.92 3 shot group at 1000. Early in the AM before the sun came up enough to mess with things. I lost in 2 shoot offs to him with that 7mmRUM. Guess what chambering I choose for my next rifle? He was a lawyer and used the name "the Mouthpiece" as the author of the news letter. It would not have bothered me to be beaten by a plumber, farmer, LEO, or a crack head, but a lawyer. I never shot another 1000yd match again.

Interesting. I was looking at them for doing some work for me. They are roughly two hours away. Giving my local guy a run first. Hopefully he will work out although he has never done benchrest guns. He did fine installing a tuner for me. Time will tell. If you use Backwater please post how it works out.
