Is the object to shoot the golf balls before the golfers get to them? :-)

No silly, you shoot golf balls out of a really fat barrel and try to get it in the cup. You have to estimate how much powder to use depending on how long the shot is. Each hole has different color bench rests to start from depending on how much magnification your scope has. You can play at night too since you can see the flaming ball in the dark. If you are really good, you can get close without burning the cover off the ball from using powder with too fast a burn rate. Count me in! ;D ;D

From what I can tell, it is a timed distance course measured in miles with several shooting stations along the way. Each shooting station has targets at various distances and different vertical angles. Targets are steel and seem to be in the form of big game. You race from the start to each station. You don't leave the station until you make a hit on each target. When you finish a station, you move on to the next. I don't know about points scored.

yes, you shoot there golf balls from behind a tree..some times they really get confused, when they hit the ball with there new super iron, makes a believer out of them..they think, look out Tiger !...lol....no its really "SpiritRidgeRifleGolf.com"...I wouldn,t be surprised to see it go nation wide..esp when it looks like with the new changes in F-class open they no-longer want the small Calli boys to play,by changing the rules to 1000yds only.. I was wanting to find a local F-club here in Utah but with there changes...Played that game before with the NHRA,unless you have deep pockets or a sponsor..your priced out yearly..don,t mean too rant..~Danny

The Rayner's Range (Ohio) monthly long range steel matches are a good format, inexpensive, and fun. I could see that catching on out west.
