There are zero markings on the barrel so I have no idea who the smith was, and it isn't factory. Are there any other specific photo's I should post?
 
Excuse my lack of knowledge - what type of competition is the rifle set up for? Is there a rail on the underside of the stock?

Stock looks to have a decent amount of material for offhand support, so this doesn't seem to be set up for pure f class.

Way cool rifle. Pretty tempting!

My guess (and I’m usually wrong LOL) is it’s an across the course position high power match rifle from the days when 308 ruled the game. Probably originally set up for iron sights (no scopes allowed back then for high power) and scoped later.

I wonder if it has a rail for a handstop.

Pretty close, I'd say, but because it has no DBM, and it is not clip slotted, it would have been only a prone rig, not XC.

It does have a rail for a hand stop if you look at the muzzle picture carefully.
 
Unfortunately not many new shooters are getting into 3P/XC sports. I bet if I put this in a chassis and doubled the price it would sell in no time.

At the current price I'm loosing money on it, and I'm tempted to pull it and sell the parts off of it separately.
