Rifle cases

What kind of cases do you guys use to transport your pet benchrest rifles safely to and from the range. I'm looking for one that secures the rifle in a metal case.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hands down, Pelican Hardigg Storm IM 3300.
In my experience, these out perform the best metal cases and other plastic cases. Beautifull aluminum cases get scratched, dented and are not as structurally sound.

If it's just to and from the range/matches, I really like the Plano Airglides. Holds the gun secure and upright, no pressure on the turrets, with enough room for a 30" barrel.

But I would never use it for airline or shipping transport as the case is not as strong as a Pelican or Storm.

Another great case is the Starlight cases. Plastic but very well made. I seem to remember them driving a truck over case and not hurting it.

I'll second the Starlight cases. And it was a small tank that ran over the cases in the video advertisement.
