Champion makes soft case. that will work. Mine takes care of my 5.5 inch

Go to the nearest guitar-keyboard store and get information on a custom hardcase.exspensive but you can get the dimensions you want and it will be bomb proof

Check Army surplus. The M249 SAW case made by Hardigg looks
very close. Hardigg Industries in general.

I have a complete woodworking shop, zn c could have made Cases for my long barreled guns at any time. But and it's a big but, j think wood will make it too heavy a not be as resistant to wear as I would like. I wound up .with a couple of pelican cases that were used by a gorilla that bes them up but they f I notion well

I use a Pelican 1770 case for my heavygun with a 5" wide McMillan H50 stock. A 6" wide forend would
fit with a little carving into the bottom foam.

I bought a cases and was going to combine a couple of rifles. It a poly cases that is 56" x 16" x 9" deep, it has wheels and is new if it might work for you. It still it the shipping cardboard with full foam. Those are mfg measurements.

This sounds like it may work what brand is it and model number is it maybe I can look it up and check.

This is the case but I actually was able to find a used one on eBay and they still have some left. They will need a foam insert because it doesn't have all the layers with it but you can get them if you look. The price is 120 + 90 shipping for the ones on eBay seems like a pretty good deal for the size of case.
