Rifle Basic's Trigger for CZ Triggers

For those who haven't done so, the Rifle Basic's CZ trigger kit is SO worth the under-$100 price. I had tweaked the standard set trigger as well as it was ever going to be and still had just THAT much take-up left. All that was gone in the 15min. it took to install and adjust the new one. One major part and a couple of small pieces was all it took. 9oz. - 3ib. let-off, no creep.

I have been running a rifle Basix trigger for over a year in my CZ455 and love it. mine is at 11 Ozs. BUT make sure you get the right Trigger. The first one I received was actually for the CZ452 and gave me nothing but headaches. After I got the right one, it worked like a charm.

FWIW, you can change the pull rate spring on the 527's and they'll adjust down about as light as you want them. I've swapped the spring on all my 527's and they'll go lower but I usually have mine set right at 10oz.

The 527's have a sear engagement screw that allows you to take all of the creep/pretravel out of it. You just have to be careful not to get so little sear engagement that the trigger will bump fire but typically if you get it to thin the trigger won't reliable reset on every bolt cycle.

It's a personal thing but I don't care for using the set trigger in the 527's so for me I swap that spring and set it at 10oz without using the set trigger. Pushing the trigger forward to set it, for me, puts it in an odd position.

Rifle Basix trigger works great in the CZ527. I have mine at 11 oz and it is crisp and smooth as silk on let off.
Will more than likely add one to a 455 I have.

the one in my 455 is excellent. 2nd groundhog this season from my back porch.
