Richard is in the middle of a busy 10 days traveling down from North Dakota to Hawks Ridge for the Nationals and laying over till next weekend when he shoots another match in Northern Missouri at Tom Jacobs' range. In between the distinations he has a lay over at the Dasher DOME in Middle Tennessee. I met Richard in Cookeville Monday noon and I took him over to visit the new 1000 yard range called Dead Zero. We met with Troy and had a long visit with him and his wife and then back to Cookeville to eat a late 3 'clock lunch. Next we stopped by and visited with Bugholes, Greg Young, at Southern Precision Rifles. Made it home in time to see the new farm addition to the DOME before dark. Martha had prepared supper, which we got to after 8 o'clock.Tuesday morning up at 6 and had a home prepared breakfast. Then we got the '54 GMC out and took her out for a spin. Next we loaded up in my Dodge Cummings and visited the new Dry Fork Range near Lafayette, Hartsville, Dixon Springs, Tn. which is only 20 minutes from the DOME. By now it is 11:30 and time to eat again.
We finally arrived at the DOME and Richard did a little load tweaking. Before he got started he shot my 221 Fireball Rem 40-XBR. After tweaking his load we lined up the a 375 Cheytac. It was to late and we were too tired to set up for a long shot, so we just fired it a few times at 800 yards. Maybe Wednesday we can go to the 2,000 yard line.
Now it is 7 o'clock and time to go eat again. We went to Longhorn's in Gallatin, Tn. Back home at 10:30 and downloaded some pics and video we took today. Very long day.
I thought Richard needed to rest for this weekend's shoot!!!! He is going non-stop!!
