Up for sale is a RFD actioned light varmint 6ppc.
The barrel is 1.200" tapering to .930" at 21.5" long, and of unknown make. .262 neck and has approximately 500 rounds fired through it. The rifle as pictured weighs 9 lb 1.8 oz and sits in what appears to be a kelbly 3" fore end stock.
It has a light crisp shilen trigger, and 3/8 scope bases.

RFD = Robert F Dodd, the fellow who built the action. He made about 260 +- in total. Used to have one, talked to him about it. Ask for a picture of the bolt lug seats in the action. Owner will have to remove the barrel to take. Look for any scoring or gouging in the lug seats.

Bob Dodd was a superb machinist. He and Brad Rosenthal made actions in Nebraska called Precision rifle actions. Bob left NE and moved to AZ and continued to make actions with a few modifications from the Precision Rifle series. One change was the bolt handle. Bob also made rail guns, powder measures and other BR stuff. He passed away a few years ago and he is missed. Besides his great machine work, he was a great BR shooter.
