Reuters report Trump Administration preparing to ease gun export law

The ruling on ATAR is need now.
Only honest gun smith payed attention and payed the tax. Many refused and stoped doing gun work . The rule is plain and simple . Pay the tax or don't do gun work .
I guess the rules only applies to honest people. Larry

Saudi Arabia happens to be one of our biggest buyers. Major dollars for U.S. businesses, no matter which religion they adhere to.
S.A. is funding the wabi violent Political Islam all over the globe. This has to end. Split 50-50 w/The Russians. I don't care how it's done, S.A. are the bad guys. Business partner/Ally or no.

We aren't going to end such a lucrative business. Our contractors and suppliers are raking in hundreds of billions of dollars each year from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and probably others.

Whatever it takes to settle these ancient barbaric savages that demand the rest of the world live in a 7th century theocracy like they do down.

Concerns of the original equipment manufacturers, parts of our military, and, of course, politicians about the long-term viability of the tracked combat vehicle industrial base are also a significant driving force for foreign military sales, such as Abrams tanks and the Paladin self-propelled howitzer.

Oh crap! I guess I shot myself in the foot by posting that stock building thread. ?:p:p:p:eek: I kinda gave away the "secret recipe".:(
i dont think so. People who want to make a stock will probably make it anyway and lots of people dont have any desire to make one.

Our "enemies" do not have any airforce or navy. They only pose a threat if we go to their country.
Hopefully this does get rid of the ITAR bs
The ITAR bs for gunsmiths needs to go for sure.
You do know Iran has a navy, Iraq too, believe Libya does also, of coarse Russia and China do too, all 5 have air forces. N Korea does too, just saying.

By enemies I was talking about the current people we are at war with. I do not see how the others are our enemies. 3rd world countries do not pose any threat to us. The war mongers in Washington try to get us to give up out personal freedom and money by scaring us with all that bs.

I agree, but who do we identify as enemies, we have perennial threats, 3rd world countries are consuming us, If some aussie cannot get a Gap rifle, or a NF scope, I'm fine with it. Transfer has always been an issue, yes, gov controls where tech goes, not sure I agree there.
The world today is a shitty place, I myself, non military, do not want to see my fellow Americans ever being targeted with American weapons, EVER

Milo, your heartfelt concern comes a bit late. Clinton gave the Chinese our missle tech back in the '90s. Hillary armed al Nusra, categorized as "nicer" mooslim radicals, after they changed their previous name, which was al Quaida. We armed the Mujadeen to fight Russia, and aw shucks. Our Biggest enemies du jour lack a Central Bank. Our friends support the petrodollar. "We" don't care if they fund terrorism, get our boys killed, etc. Small arms trade deregulation matters not one whit

I know all to well, you are 100% correct, there has been a lot of regulation rolled back, not getting into to politics, but some of it not warranted.

this would only be for 'sporting arms'
Like in Afghanistan, the Muslims are using our own USA made weapons against our troops. Im all for our American Gun manufactures selling as much as they can, as long as the arms they sell are not used against us. Im all for selling them a stick, but they can barley write their own name in the dirt with it. That's not a racist thing, that's an IQ thing. (See Charles Murray's 'The bell Curve').
