Returning single shot back to repeater

I have a rifle based on a Remington 700 action with a McMillan F-Class stock that has been converted to single-shot......I am selling this rifle and have had a couple of people ask me what it would take to convert it back to a repeater? I assume that the action has a plate or some type of filler that has been glued in, and that it would need to be removed. Also I assume that the stock would need to have the magazine area routed out for the magazine? A estimate of time involved to accomplish this would be helpful also.

Any insight would be helpful, here are a few pics:

Thanks!

those pictures do nothing to tell us anything. Most likely I would guess that it has a fixed floor plate in it, probably silver in color. post pics of the inside of the action where the bullet sits before a round gets chambered... and yes new stock/ get inleted for new bottom metal that would accept a mag, or how ever you would want to do it...

You are correct in your assumptions. Pull the action out of the stock and you will be able to tell if it is glued (most likely epoxy which can be melted with a heat gun set to low) or welded. Still possible to pull the plate but wouldn't it be easier to sell it as a prone rifle as is (since that is what you have). If it has a 30" barrel in .308 it is a Palma rifle. If other caliber it is a long range match rifle. Could be sold here or:

Last resort would be gunbroker.com but the match rifles there languish for long periods and then sell for very little as most of the buyers there do not compete nor know what they are looking at.

MTM,

Thanks for the reply. I would RATHER sell it as-is, but I have had a couple of people that asked how much work would be involved in moving it back to a repeater, so I thought I'd better find out. It has a 24" Shilen SS barrel in 7mm Rem Mag.

Liveround,

Thats no F class stock, not sure if it's even McMillan. Looks as though it could have a V block under the action would would make it virtually pointless trying to convert it, might even make it more attractive to some.
