Results Manatee 600 yard IBS Match 2-23-19

Hi guys.

I am still struggling with health issues, but the crew as always pulled together and put on a great match. Weather sunny, mild winds and mid 80s. As always, something to complain about. Mirage came up and things got a bit harder. I do not have the actual equipment list for this months match, but likely the same as last months. I will update when I get the Match Registration forms. Larry may post pictures, but man our guys are really getting to shoot much smaller. BRAs 1-2-3?

Alex Linn cleaned up "top gun" at Manatee today. He did well in LG and cleaned up all in HG, in spite of the mirage and wind conditions.

Now for the surprise of the day. Michael Lowitz just bought an old Stolle Dasher from past shooter Bob Davidson. He wanted to try this BR shooting and showed up with no experience. His loading was to just follow what the previous owner said might work. Little to no testing and practice needed to do this:

Sure going to be a tough act to follow with that start.

I was supposed to test some Roy Hunter 108's and did get a chance in HG only. Set-up was difficult and so was the start. Still, all my groups showed very little vertical despite my lack of practice. Finally I saw a break in the wind and mirage for maybe a minute. That was all I needed to show off those Roy Hunter 108's.
