Resizing 6.5-284 to 25-284

Getting some parts together to build a 25-284. I have ordered some of the 135 Berger 25 cal bullets and am going to do a 7.5 twist on a tikka action.

The question I have is Redding makes a 25-284 die set but will that work on lapua brass or is that setup for win brass? I could just go with a 6.5-284 bushing die and change the bushing but not sure on what size bushing. Any thoughts?

That's what I did. I have several 284s and 6.5-284s and simply use the dies I have for them. Just swap out the bushing die for neck sizing. Even the seat die works from the 6.5-284 without needing a different stem. Thought I'd bed the stem but it wasn't necessary.

How do you like the caliber? What size bushing did you use?
.284/.285 bushings. Haven't got it to the range yet. Gunsmith is still chambering the barrel. Can't say which bushing works best but doubt you'd see much difference in the 3 listed above. .282-.286 should work fine. I loaded some rounds based on the reamer spec and used the .284 bushing. Will hopefully be at the range this month to get some load info.
