Replacement rings and bases for Ruger No. 1V

Looking for someone that has replaced factory ruger rings and bases on a Ruger No. 1 V.

Would like to install Talley Rings, but they do not make bases for the barrel-mounted No. 1V. I'm almost tempted to install Unertl bases and put that scope on this rifle, but have a brand new Leupold 6.5x20 with side focus that I prefer for varmint shooting. The barrel of the No.1V makes a weaver-style base look too wide, so I am thinking that the Talley might be the best base as it is quite narrow in cross section.

Any thoughts?
