I have a model 10 and 110 both with Rifle Basix. The triggers came with an installation CD and were easy to install and adjust.Rifle Basix
Have to agree w/ CaptainMal on this one. Given TODAYS options I've abandoned the other options listed above and use the Savage target trigger. Economical, reliable and most importantly SAFE. No chance of accidental discharge moving from "safe" to "fire". Draw back? You'll still need to train yourself to move the red trigger blade STRAIGHT back........ look at "my fix for accutrigger" by: noload below under: similar threads. Pretty slick ideaI would avoid Rifle Basics at the lower weights. With Savage and a trigger "slip", the rifle de-cocks. With a Rifle Basics trigger in it FIRES. I know all too well that this is a problem at the lower , say 8-10oz weights.
Savage makes a different Accutrigger for target use. It will go down below 10oz but can be set up to maybe a full pound or more. Think that's a better and safer option.
Ok, but I'm not going into Canjar land. 8ozs is low enough for me.On the rifles that came with the target accu-trigger, I still use them. On models without them, I use the Sharpshooter trigger -- which works well in your range and somewhat below. I also found the Sav 2 trigger tricky to adjust low and had to stone some parts to even get close the low end they advertise.
