Repairing vintage Lyman scopes

I have a vintage Lyman 438 scope that needs the crosshair replaced. Overnight the crosshair has detached itself and curled up like a hairball at the 2:00 position.
I need somebody who knows how to make the repair. This is a quality scope with lenses made by Bausch & Lomb and is mounted on my 1890 built Winchester 1885.
Please help me~!
