Repaired Scope Reliability?

I don't have a long history with scopes but I do own a few different brands, price ranging from $200-$2000. I recently had a complete failure with one of the lesser expensive scopes and I have sent it in for repairs. I now wonder if it will be reliable after the repair or will it be susceptible for failures again.

The scope in question is a Bushnell BT1040 (made in Japan), I believe. It is a fixed 10 power with tactical style turrets, Mil-dot reticle and MOA turrets. A little different but it was fine for what it got used for, until it wouldn't hold zero and turrets had no control over the settings.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Richard

Send it back. If it gets fixed, then it will be good. If it is a older model and can't be fixed, then you may get offered a newer model at a very discounted rate. That is the norm in the industry today.
