Yes it does, it has been altered. Now it becomes your responsibility.Leupold won't touch it? Tell me more! That doesn't sound like Leupold.
From my understanding Dock Thomas and Leupold had a “falling out”. After that Leupold refused to honor their guarantee. I called Leupold about my Premier converted Leupold scopes and was told they were my responsibility. They would not touch them.Leupold won't touch it? Tell me more! That doesn't sound like Leupold
When I talked service tech, he said Premier glues things back together and they don’t want to take the risk of damaging the scope during repair.Leupold won't touch it? Tell me more! That doesn't sound like Leupold.
If true I think Leupold has dropped the ball for the end user....again. If they led people to Premier and told them it was ok, they would service it, they should stand that ground forever or until the parts are gone. Not nice! From my understanding Dock Thomas and Leupold had a “falling out”. After that Leupold refused to honor their guarantee. Welcome to 2010? Actually I think it was before that Leupold quit honoring Premier boosted scopes because they couldn’t disassemble them….If true I think Leupold has dropped the ball for the end user....again. People make decisions then want someone else to bail them out. Show me an ad where Leupold is suggesting somone goes to Premier. There are none. Leupold did not drop the ball. The consumer had the item modified for something it was not designed for. Its on him not the manufacturer of the original product. Of couse in todays world it is not fashionable to bear the responsibility of ones own decisions. If true I think Leupold has dropped the ball for the end user....again.
