Action is sleeved Remington any suggestions to not have to redo sleeve and remove it from stock?
The old way was to put a wedge between the barrel and end of the stock. Just a little pressure and then apply heat to the receiver. Most used a clothes iron.

Seems you are trying to compromise the action to glue joint, eh?Never tried what Larry suggests, but using heat on a glued sleeve could compromise the action to glue, while getting it all hot enough to come out of the stock.
