Remmington ultra mag question

I have a .300 RUM,CDL wood)and I'm considering selling.
The rifle is brand new with only 6 rounds down the tube.

Is the RUM an action used in BR? is this an action I could use for BR one day or should I sell the rifle as a whole?


I have way too many guns and need to make room in the safe.

That seems to be a big ole action for the tiny 6br even though it can be used OK....

If you are considering longrange BR, then your Mag action will do fine. If shortrange is your objective, go for a short action.
