Remington stripped receiver value

Just wondering what a decent Remington receiver with nothing is worth? I have a PTG comeplete bolt 308 face short action and thinking of building around it. Never posted a WTB or look anywhere for a stripped receiver before. Would one some what older be better to build around than a new 1. The finish on the outside of receiver would not be crucial as it would get cerekoted anyhow. Whats the verdict and value of a stripped receiver only fellas?

Dan, cheapest I have seen for the last 6-8yrs is $200 but most at least $225 and upwards of $250 completely stripped and rarely see one listed.

I would buy the complete reciever and sell what you dont need as there are always people looking for another bolt.
