Remington Model 700 VS SF II

I was looking at a new Reminton Model 700 VS SF II in 22-250. Very nice looking rifle, but do they shoot?
Thx Ray

Ray, I have one in the 22-250 and love it. I shoot the 50gr blitzking out of it at 3950fps and I can honestly say its a half inch gun. Its been the downfall of many coyotes on my way to work. ;)

My friend also has one and it shoots real good with handloads under a half of an inch.

a friend bought one and after a little tweeking of the trigger, bedding and loads 55 blitzking aat 3725 shoot in the .300's with 6.5x20 lupe, r/p brass 9 1/2 and 4064/h414

I appreciate the advise and encouragement. That being said I went over to the gun shop this morning and will be picking it up tomorrow.
Thx, Ray

A few months ago I wanted one of these in .220 Swift pretty badly. Unfortunately I couldn't find one. I've heard nothing but good about how they shoot. I have 2 friends that own these rifles and they are very pleased with the way they shoot. I like the HS stock that comes standard on this model.

I however did not end up with one. On the advice of friends I found a 700 VS SPS Stainless for half the price. I then replaced the stock and trigger to make it shoot decently.

I had one of the original vssf's in 220 Swift,it was the best shooting, straight out of the box Remington Ive ever had.Sadly,it had a pretty short demise. In my younger days, bloodlust and hangtime in the prairie dog towns were way higher priorities than gun care.
