I bought this years ago as a Model Seven Youth with the J-lock. I replaced the latter with a Gre-Tan firing pin assembly and added a Timney trigger. Stock is a Bell & Carlson, which I had to relieve on the right to accommodate the Timney; it’s not visible when assembled. The barrel floats but does not sit centered in the barrel channel. I w as going to bed the action so it would but never got around to it. Scope is a Leupold VX-3i 3.5-10x40 with duplex reticle in a DNZ mount; pretty sure I have the rear iron sight and will include it.
I’m the second owner so don’t know exact round count. I never carried it hunting and didn’t shoot it much. I never did any load development because it shot Fiocchi 50 grain Polymer Tip BTs (223HVA50) into a half-inch if I did my part. Bolt face shows very little wear.
Asking$1,400 $1,200 shipped lower 48 to an FFL who will receive from a private seller, $1,050 $900 if you don’t want the scope and mount. Knock off another $100 if FTF (Central TX) and I’ll throw in a box of the Fiocchi ammo. Posted elsewhere. Thanks for looking.
