I bet it doesn't come back "Remington green!"all you have to do is take a sample to a paint store and Wa-La matched!
Who cares? it will be the same color, You might be surprised, Auburn blue and orange are their own colorsI bet it doesn't come back "Remington green!"![]()
It's almost like they hired a bunch of young executives whose agenda was to get rid of firearms,, Nah that couldn't be it.How far that company fell. Back in the '50s and 60s they used to sponsor trap and skeet and had professional shooting teams that toured the country doing exhibitions and classes.
How far everything has fallen... it's sad.

Or got in bed with the devilIt's almost like they hired a bunch of young executives whose agenda was to get rid of firearms,, Nah that couldn't be it.
"Marketing" is in the color, not the performance.I get a kick out of how folks focus on the color of the tractor or equipment. The question is, does the quality and reliability go in before the paint goes on?
when did that plant shut down? seems like it had a Dupont sign on it too?? My dads buddy had minnow ponds there and i remember it well. I almost shot at a swan hunting there when i was real young---thought it was a snow goose---with a 7 ft wingspan!!! I could see a collar on it and leg bands when it soared by. that wasnt far from the plant if i recall correctly.Hey Feller, dang, you jogged some memories... back in the 90's the Remington ammo plant at Lonoke Ark had a skeet and trap field. Nice set up and club house, manager's name was Billy Crutchfield, good friend of mine. He was repainting the benches one day and I happened to notice (being a farmer) that the paint can said John Deere Green. In those days there were a lot of John Deere tractors around Lonoke Ark and lots of parts stores stocked the paint. Billy said that the implement paint lasted a lot longer than the "crap that Remington used". That would have been the old JD green which was darker and flatter the the new lighter and shinier stuff that they use today.... maybe this will help you a little.... John
good deal...we need all ammo we can get!@okie , I think they shut down when Remington went under a while back. New company that bought them put it back in production so I'm told and it's supposed to be running wide open now. They had a hell of an investment there with the shot tower and all...... John
