Remington 7mm08 140 gr core lokt powder??

Recently started load development on a new Remmy 700 in 7mm08. I loaded several loads with 2 of the pills i wanted to use . A fellow at work gave me 11 factory 140grain core lokts. So i used these to sight in and do a little break in. The first 7 i used to sight in while cleaning after each shot. The last five i shot for group and to my surprise they all went into a dime sized hole. I then shot my match prepped hand loads and no such luck. So i guess Remington has the load i need. I am wondering if anyone knows what powder and charge they use in this ammo???? I understand it is a slow load but being this is a PA whitetail deer gun i have no need for a super charger.

Most all the big companies selling loaded ammunition DO NOT use the same cannister powders that you can buy over the counter. They get large lots of powder from the manufacturers and blend them to get the pressure and velocity they are looking for.
I think some of the new loadings from maybe Federal and Hornady may be loaded with cannister powder and have the data on the box.

i have not found a 7-08 that would not shoot 140's either hornady, sierra gk, nosler bt, with 4064, 4895

Been having good luck with Re 17 and 140 grain bullets in the 7mm-08.

Just this week I worked up a load for a 7mm-08 shooting 140 NBT's. H4895 did a fine job.

I've found re-15 and fed.210 primers with 140 nos. bt. hard to beat in the 7mm-08.
