Still looking for an extractor for my Remington 721 in 30 - 06 , if anyone knows where one is , I would pay handsomely for it , or several ...thanks , everyone .

FWIW- the correct spelling for "sotter" is solder. No big deal -even US Presidents who supposedly graduated law school have problems with the English language. i.e. "corpsman" -which in this case the "ps" is silent.

Your only option to acquire a 722/721 .378" or.473" face extractor is to go into production & manufacture several thousand of each to sell on fleebay.

What is going on here is when you see some one make a mistake you belittle who ever it is to make yourself feel better about who you are. Most of the rest of us figured out in the 3rd grade that this doesn't change who we are, nor do pointing out mine or others mistakes change who you are. But I bet you do feel better about if just for a minute or two. But one look in the mirror and it's still you. Ive asked some of the members here questions in a PM, they gave me a clear complete answer and I knew they were real MEN, you not so much.

I think you take yourself far too seriously.

I believe it's the brunt of a joke, at least according to Webster's. But you aren't making yourself the brunt of a joke, you are making others the brunt of your joke. Maybe in your case butt was the right word. Grow Up!

The 721/722/700/7 etc extractor is one thing that brought about the need for "custom" actions,,,its weakness and failure rate has made the bolt mods so prevalent in Rems used for any repetitive shooting disipline ,,,,for hunting and field use they are fine and will last a lifetime,,,however when you shoot hundreds of rounds every week with one you are flirting with failure,,,,Roger

I have a 721 that the Extractor finally just worn out. Then I took it out and dam if I didn't break it so for SURE it was done for. right before an Ell hunt too. Sigh. After doing a Search and trying to Retro fit a 700 Extractor with no luck. I sent it off to have an M16 Extractor put in... It works now.....Better than ever.
