That was in the bulletin awhile back, but it's good you're reminding people. I believe the Remington rebate ends Sept 30 (Sat) . No cabelas near me but I'll be traveling right by one tomorrow so it sure is tempting to stop and get one.
Just went to cabelas website and did not see the 700 s for 410. Am not sure what that means
The ad was a sales flyer mailed and advertised the 700 ADLs in .243, 22-250, 30-06 and .270 for $409.99.
Good I hope the sale is still on.
To end on a positive note, I found 6 lbs. of H4350 sitting on the shelf!i imagine you know but be sure to claim your 50 rebate.They "said" that sale ended the 28th. They have a new sale. I got a 700 in 308( skinny barrel) with a scope for $359.00. I can't ev n tell ya what scope as I didn't care.Thanks, Dale.
Ps: Be ready to be patient. The background check "sales team" took an hour to get thru. I think they were Democrats. Two girls. Kept chit chattin. I was ready to blow!
I don't have a custom yet so that gives me something to look forward to. I bought 2 -700s and a 783 lately though so I better get those rebates sent in.
I got mine at Wally. They were 378 minus 50 rebate. Good thing a cabelas isn't near me or I would have bought some more.
They should be able to check their other stores and if they have one, ship it to the one you patronize. They do that with gun library inventory.
Yeah but mine came with varmint contour barrel that has been sold for another $85
i know --i bought the ones I did before i knew about the cabela sale and paid around 30 bucks more each for them with the light barrel. those varmint ones from cabelas were a better deal. Its 100 miles for me to the nearest cabelas and i have to much going to make the trip. I sure miss having a good gunshop where i live. i imagine you can get alot more for that factory varmint barrel than a person could from one of the skinny ones.
if you missed out on this to bad! we went and got 5 of them in .308 with varmint barrels. took them home and hand lapped the barrels and then treated with bore-coat and everyone of them shot great. better then some of my buddys guns that cost a arm and a leg. 2 of them are so good we are sending them to 300 below to freeze the barrels as they shoot in high ones. I just found a 7mm mag Remington adl at a wal-mart that they had in back room and they sold it to me for $329 dollars. cant wait to work on it.
