Remington 700

I have a Remington 700 chambered in 270 Win and I am trying to decode when it was manufactured. The barrel has an hour glass marking then "WN" stampings. According to what I can find online "W" stands for August and "N" is for 1966. The rifle is very good condition, stock and all. Trying to determine value. Thanks in advance for any information.

Your best bet is Gun Broker. Use the advanced search feature and look for what amount they have recently sold. There is always good demand for Remmy 700s.

Looks like an ADL but can't tell for sure from your pics. The long actions are less desirable than the short actions, so that works against you. ADL not as valuable as BDL. But currently some rifles are selling for considerable more than 2 years ago. I sold a Rem 700 SS BDL in 25-06 that surprised me how much someone was willing to pay for it. Great pictures and description help maximize the auction value if you go that way.
