remington 700 ?

i found used remington 700 adl sa that id like to buy.[it has a tupaware stock] i have a bdl stock[wood] that i would like to put it in, my ? is,will a floor plate from midway work [remington 700 bdl sa] and is that all i have to buy. thanks

The only difference that I could see is that one (BDL) has the bottom trap door...The ADL does not. If you know what the action screw pattern is then you could measure them...OR just google what you need....Good Luck..I maybe wrong but it should fit...

To go from an ADL to BDL, you will need a floorplate and a BDL magazine box (which is shorter and doesn't attach to the action). The spring and follower will work in either, although there are ADL and BDL springs listed in the Remington spare parts.

You should be able to sell the ADL mag box, tab screw, trigger guard and middle action screw fairly easily - lots of people prefer the ADL set up.

The difference in the springs is the ADL spring has a small "ski" tip to prevent it from digging in the stock where it rest on the bottom of the inlet.

It will slide in the BDL floorplate if you hammer the tip flat.
